Royal Exploration Corps Members Make Discovery
Royal Exploration Corps members discover a small tiki idol deep in the jungle, just past the "first sign of danger". The small box was lodged in the rocks of the Cambodian shrine, right across from the mysterious Temple of the Forbidden Eye.
This past March 5th, a jungle transport boat carried a full complement of R.E.C. members up river. They slowed as they approached an elephant bathing pool, where the small wooden box marked "Dangerous Artifact, Do Not Open" was discovered. Skipper Casey, who has recently begun working with Doctor Jones Jr., thought it best to recover the article.
The Corps has studied the artifact in the R.E.C.’s laboratory, and has found it to posses strange and unexplained powers. The idol, secure in its small crate, is being safely stored until such time contact with Doctor Henry Jones Jr. can be made.
