Capt. Scott "Crikey" Blackwood Injured

Poisonous Blow Dart Said To Be Culprit

Word has arrived back to R.E.C. Headquarters of an injury to Captain Blackwood during a recent expedition. While exact details are sparse, Doctor John Nedson Shortbottom III has had some correspondence with the Captain. Blackwood explained to Shortbottom that he was deep in the jungle when the injury occurred, causing the Captain to exclaim "Crikey!". It is unclear who was wielding the blowpipe that delivered the poison dart, but once recovered it will make for a good story, likely over a "Painkiller".

The Captain, being well aware of the hippopotami in the region where the injury occurred, and of it being breeding season, opted for a terrestrial extraction versus an aquatic one. Blackwood, taking matters into his own hands, is said to have driven the motorized ambulance himself despite having just received the injury.

The Corps will stay abreast of developments and will keep members informed of Captain Blackwoods recovery.
