Unscheduled Foray - Lost Delta

R.E.C. Members Tour Captured By Eye On The Globe

A small R.E.C. detachment recently conducted an unscheduled tour and foray in to the Lost Delta regions, captured by the Eye On The Globe.

Upon arrival, the group was delighted to discover additional members already on expedition.

With confabulation complete, the detachment turned its attention to the Jungle Navigation Company and charted a launch. They then set off on an explicatory peregrination in to the undergrowth.

Shortly after embarkation, the tour ran in to DANGER! Thankfully, at the helm of the intrepid pinnace, was the fearless Skipper Annie! With unrivaled bravery she navigated the perilous water ways and ultimately returned the Corps safely to the docks. So impressed with her vigor and stout heart, the R.E.C. members presented her with a field commendation – A Certificate of Adventurous Merit and the accompanying regalia.

Now returned to terra firma, the Corps proceeded to the Treehouse and field offices for a quick inspection and validation of the facility’s readiness.

Furthermore, Shortbottom and Youngington continued their hunt for the ever elusive Treehouse Rum Cellar. While doing so, they happened upon another of the local gentry, a Pirate Captain known for her garb of rouge. Inquires were made, but once again, no assistance was tendered.

Taking leave of their Cellar quest, the group next paid a visit to the ongoing archaeological excavation at The Temple of the Forbidden Eye. Despite rumors of a curse and dark menace that had permeated the location, the Corps members set forth on an inspection of the site. And, while minor difficulties were encountered, Dr Jones himself provided safe passage through any and all turmoil.

As the day’s shadows grew long, and with all jeopardy dispatched or reconciled, the group concluded that celebratory libations were now in order. The R.E.C. enjoys a standing invitation from Trader Sam, and so they sallied forth to his Adventurous establishment.

As the imbibing commenced, the Corps was delighted to come upon two freshman members. Count Marcus Romulus Bestwick and Professor Sir Roy Hinkley. Both, in residency at Sam’s, are among The Royal Exploration Corps newest members, and hence regards and congratulations were enthusiastically proffered.

Thus ended another exciting Royal Exploration Corps Expedition!
