The Commander and Boomerang - Mark Twain
One of the last photographs of Blaine "Boomerang". Here the Commander and Boomerang assist Captain Ortega of the paddle-wheeler Mark Twain. The Twain was at full steam and racing a locomotive running along a trestle above the river. An upcoming bend in said river had the vessel heading straight for an Indian camp on shore. A young girl, fishing form the shore with her dog let out a scream and the two raced to the Wheelhouse to see if they could be of assistance. The three men, signaling down to the engine room with a series of bells for a FULL STOP, followed by FULL REVERSE soon had the mighty river boat tamed.
Shortly after this photograph of Sir T. Youngington Regalia Esq., the Commander of the R.E.C. and Blane was made, Boomerang was flying out of Lost Delta, hired for a cargo run by the JNC - his destination was their Eastern terminus. His plane never arrived, apparently crash landing in the Jungle. The R.E.C., S.E.A. and J.N.C. have been on the lookout for him, or a crash site.
UPDATE: Wreckage was spotted by JNC boat skippers along their common routes. The crash site has been thoroughly searched, and all cargo recovered, there was no sign of Boomerang and his body was never found. The R.E.C. has officially designated him “MISSSING”, but knowing him will not yet consider him truly lost.
