Matt “Jötunn” Mallory a.k.a. Matt “The Blue-Eyed” knew the meaning of wanderlust the moment he left the womb. He leapt at the first opportunity to travel abroad the day he turned 18: Oct. 11th, 1917… while his stint in the US Army was decidedly and mercifully brief, his time on the front had an indelible impact upon his psyche. It was here he earned the ironic nickname of “Jötunn” given his shorter than average height and obsessive wearing of a Norse Vegvisir medallion.
Rather than return home, Matt opted instead to trade the cold rain and mud of France for the slightly warmer rain and mud of The Jungle. Appearing on the JNC dock with nothing but a bedroll, his satchel and a hungry look in his blue eyes. He is known for having a slightly manic demeanor and going on tangents as well as a laugh that sometimes goes too long…
