Lieutenant “Skipper” Casey

RE: Operations - R.E.C. Command

Shortbottom, you and I have often accomplished a life’s time of adventure in just a single weekend - often simply sitting atop a stool while Trader Sam himself pours drinks. As you are aware, Miss Veronica Constantine and I are now just 10 days out from a most dangerous expedition into the wilds of the desert south-west. I won’t have you at my side to count on if things go awry. And while we don’t expect any misfortunes, I find it prudent to make without hesitation clear, that if for some unforeseen reason we do not make it back, you are to take the reins of the Royal Exploration Corps as Commander. If you find need, reach out to Lt. Casey, Captain Ortega, Artimus Kingsmen, Miss Molly Trinitrotoluene or even Blaine Arran if you can locate him. And, always take advice from Miss Farnsworth.

I hope to be in your company agaIn upon return, to share stories of the great and mysterious sights we have viewed.

While Booby is less than reliable in such an arid and formidable climate, and portable telegraphy may be spotty at best, communications may be sparse.

At your service,

Sir T. Youngington Regalia Esq., Commander Royal Exploration Corps
