Boomerang Blaine

Blaine (Boomerang) Arran

Blaine received is nickname -Boomerang – from his piloting reputation in WWI - for no matter how dangerous, daring or ill conceived his mission was, he would always return to base (typically, with his plane shot to pieces and barely flyable).

He is often hired by REC for charter and cargo work and is considered a good friend of the Corps and an honorary member; however, he has also flown in the service of less reputable employers including Reed, Hightower Industries and Lao Che. It is because of his associations with these unsavory types (and even rumors of smuggling), that his petitions for full REC membership have been declined.

Boomerang’s current whereabouts are unknown. He was last seen flying out of Lost Delta, hired for a cargo run by the JNC - his destination was their Eastern terminus. His plane never arrived, apparently crash landing in the Jungle (wreckage was spotted by JNC boat skippers along their common routes). While the crash site was thoroughly searched, and all cargo recovered, there was no sign of Boomerang and his body was never found.

REC has officially designated him “MISSSING” and continues to seek clues and information as to his location and condition (we have even called on the SEA for assistance - enlisting help the help of Barnabas T. Bullion, Jason Chandler and Jock Lindsey, for whom Boomerang has flown for in the past)

If sighted, please immediately dispatch radio telegraph or blue footed booby to nearest REC offices.
