This event is an “Adventurers’ Themed Takeover/Pop-up” at the Broken Compass Tiki Bar in Burbank California. Come dressed as an Adventurer (Pith Helmet, Safari, Khaki, Jungle Cruise, Indiana Jones, Barnstorming Pilot, Out of Africa, etc. etc. - or your favorite genre of Adventurer attire).

It is being hosted by The Broken Compass, Tiki Tony and The Royal Exploration Corps.

We are honored to have two very special, guest bar tenders on hand – Roy Hanzal and Cristian Diaz of Trader Sam’s. They will be mixing drinks for the event including One Very Special - “The Idol’s Curse” that will only be available to those who pre-purchase an event drink ticket. To get tickets click here:

What the Drink Ticket will get you:

Along with the Special Drink “The Idol’s Curse”, ticket holders will also receive miniature “Idol Pin” and some “Royal Exploration Corps” schwag items (stickers, refrigerator magnet or similar items).

There will also be a raffle where we will be giving away a “Lost idol” (An art piece figurine created by Tiki Tony) – Drink Tickets are NOT required to be in the raffle, but you must be present to win.

At present, the event is open to everyone and no ticket is required for entry; however, The Broken Compass has a limited capacity, and those with Drink Tickets will be given preferred access and admission. Furthermore, if ALL drink tickets are sold out, The Broken Compass will close its doors to the general public, and this event will become a private party and only those who purchase drink tickets will be allowed in.

The Search For The Lost Idol - Episode 3

When we Last Left our Adventurers, they had discovered an ancient map, clutched in the skeletal hand of their, now deceased, missing colleague Count Aldert Van Jaager. However, the Map was torn and incomplete, hence they resolved to enlist the service of fellow Royal Exploration Corp member, Dr Artimus Kingsmen – Cartography expert – in hope that once restored, the map will lead them to the Lost, Cursed Idol of Muuki-Muuki…..


Arriving just moments ago, the R.E.C. has received the much sought after Idol Talismans! It is hoped that these small, yet powerful, mystic relics will aid the Royal Exploration Corps and their guests on this coming September 22nd as they unwrap the mystery of the Lost Idol of Muuki-Muuki.


Thirsty adventurers everywhere, the R.E.C. hopes you'll be in attendance this coming September 22nd at the Broken Compass in Burbank, CA to help "Search For The Lost Idol"!
