UPDATE: Miss Trinitrotoluene Promoted

Recently Miss Trinitrotoluene has been promoted to the "front office", running things for all of the "Lands" including those of the Big Thunder and those that include the jungle regions.  You may even find her in "Plaid"! The R.E.C. wishes to congratulate Miss Molly M. Trinitrotoluene and remind her that once a Corps member, always a Corps member! Kungaloosh!

With a formal education in chemistry and geology, Molly M. Trinitrotoluene embarked on a career in mining and explosives, first working for the Rainbow Mountain Mining and Exploration Company in the western United State. She excelled in this discipline. Indeed, it was said that if anyone knew how to handle a short fuse it was Molly, and she quickly developed a reputation as the foremost expert in the fine art of demolitions.

Miss Trinitrotoluene soon became the talk of the mining industry and began receiving offers from mining companies all over the world. With a sense of adventure and a desire to travel, she first accepted a contract with a mining operation in the Amazon basin. Once complete, she moved on to jobs in Asia. And following that, she accepted a demolitions position with a mining company near the Congo River in Africa.

As she traveled and worked for these various and often remote mining operations, she developed an infatuation with the rivers and jungles in these exotic regions. Along the way, she began to dabble in boat piloting, and took the opportunity to explore the waterways of these exciting locales.

When in the Congo, she eventually took a hiatus from her career in combustion and took a part-time Skipper position with the J.N.C. Thus, allowing her to explore the jungle water ways while transporting passengers and cargo. At one point serving as Skipper to a R.E.C. expedition.

Miss Trinitrotoluene would return to her more incendiary beginnings after a chance meeting with Barnabas T. Bullion, a shrewd American Mining magnet. Bullion knew of Molly’s explosive reputation, and also knew he would do well to have her in his employ at his biggest operation. The position of Chief Demolitions officer for the “Big Thunder Mining Company” was generously offered by Bullion…and Molly accepted.

The Royal Exploration Corps has had their eye on Miss Trinitrotoluene for some time, unbeknown to her. Her knowledge of jungle exploration as well as the sciences and art of explosives were skills the Corps was looking for. Molly M. Trinitrotoluene was offered, and enthusiastically accepted a distinguished membership with the R.E.C.
